Departmental electoral cantons 2015 in Pays de la Loire

A re-division of the French cantons is defined by the law of 17 May 2013 and the decrees d' application published in February and March 2014. Under this law, the districts of the cantons allow the election of departmental assemblies, renamed departmental councils by majority, binominal and joint elections. Indeed, this re-splitting is accompanied by a voting method to promote parity: each new canton is represented by two departmental councillors, a man and a woman, elected in pairs.
