### Vaccination campaign against COVID-19
The vaccine strategy put in place must meet three public health objectives:
— Reducing mortality and severe forms of disease
— Protect caregivers and the care system
— Ensuring the safety of vaccines and vaccinations
The vaccine strategy, adopted by the Minister of Solidarity and Health, aims to identify priority persons for vaccination, based on public health issues and the gradual arrival of vaccine doses. ### Data
The data presented relate to appointments made at COVID-19 vaccination centres (the dataset: [Covid-19 vaccination locations](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/lieux-de-vaccination-contre-la-covid-19/) can be found where vaccination centres are located.
They come from the information systems of Doctolib, Keldoc and Maiia, all three of which are aggregated by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health.
They therefore make it possible to know, per week of appointment, the number of appointments made (and not cancelled) at the national, regional and departmental grids, as well as by centre, distinguishing whether it is a first or a second injection.
During the weekend of March 6 and 7, the number of vaccinations was high and higher than usual. The large number of injections was not necessarily accompanied by such a large volume of appointments made on the digital booking platforms because the operation was prepared very quickly and the use of waiting lists managed by the vaccination centres allowed a faster implementation.
Finally, a file reconciles dose allocations and appointments made for the coming weeks by vaccination centre. While the data presented are weekly, however, the allocations and appointments over several weeks should be analysed due to the variability in delivery dates and inventory management.
These data relate mainly to ad hoc vaccination centres, but may also relate to vaccination sites outside outpatient centres.
