Differences in disability pensions between women and men

This dataset shows the gender gaps in direct disability pensions, by plan and by year. For each scheme, year and type of direct entitlement, the indicator is women’s pension relative to that of men minus 1. A negative value indicates that women’s pensions are lower than men’s, while a positive value indicates that women’s pensions are higher than that of men. For example, in the general scheme in 2019, the average direct entitlement disability pension for women is 21.1 % lower than that of men.
