Digital consultation — Draft plan to improve the sound environment 2021-2026 — Co-writing — 2022

Data from the following digital consultation campaign: “Draft Sound Environment Improvement Plan 2021-2026” The consultation was open on idee.paris from 10 November 2021 to 10 January 2022. To succeed the Environmental Noise Prevention Plan (PPBE) 2015-2020, which reduced environmental noise by two decibels, the Paris executive wanted to develop, for the period 2021-2026, a comprehensive noise improvement plan (PAES) integrating noise into the environment and neighbourhood noise. The 2015-2020 PPBE has already made many advances for the sound environment, including:the installation of sound coatings on half of the peripheral boulevard, the sensitive modelling of the sound landscape for the development of the Place de la Nation, the experimentation of urban sound and thermal coatings “Cool & Low Noise Asphalt”, which benefits from the funds of the European LIFE programme, the integration into the Local Urban Planning Plan of article UG 15.4 on the promotion of facades not exposed to noise, etc. The PAES 2021-2026 wishes to continue and deepen the work already undertaken, both on environmental noise and on neighbourhood noise. The actors in these two areas are different and therefore their management is usually separate. However, they both condition the quality of the sound environment. Parisians were invited to consult the draft PAES and to express their views on the actions it contains.
