The production of digital soil properties maps in Languedoc Roussillon is the result of a collaboration between OPenIG (Ex SIG-LR) and UMR LISAH (INRAE Montpellier) in the framework of the CIFRE thesis by Kévin Vaysse (2013-2016). The soil properties concerned are the particle size fractions (clay, silt and sand rates), pH, and soil organic carbon. For each of these 5 properties, are provided, at nodes of a 90mx90m grid, and for 6 depth intervals of the ground (0-5 cm, 5-15 cm, 15-30 cm, 30-60 cm, 60-100 cm, 100-200 cm): * A predicted value * A width of confidence interval (P=90 %) around this value estimating prediction uncertainty These data issued follow the specifications of the GlobalSoilMap digital soil ownership mapping project. The method used to produce these data follows a numerical soil mapping approach (see general description in Lagacherie et al, 2013). A full description is provided in the thesis (Vaysse, 2016).
