District Authorities Escaut corresponds to the division of the District Escaut according to the different Authorities which it is: Brussels, Flanders, France, Netherlands and Wallonia.
A DCE basin corresponds to:
— either to a national river basin district (example: Courses
D'water of Corsica)
— or a portion of an international river basin district situated on the
territory of a Member State (examples: the Meuse; the Sambre).
Each WFD basin has a coordinating competent authority which is the body responsible for the implementation of the WFD within the WFD basin. Its cartographic representation is the aggregation of polygons of the administrative DCE sub-basins.

In case of major update that would not be compatible with previous version of API, we keep for 30 days both versions so you will have enough time to transfer to new version. We will inform you about the changes in advance by e-mail.
