#### Detailed description
EDF is a Group comprising a group of companies and subsidiaries. To view the Group’s simplified organisation chart, this is [here](https://opendata.edf.fr/explore/dataset/organigramme-du-groupe-edf/table/).
Therefore, when we want, for example, to have a global view of the Group’s energy production, we must carry out what we call a consolidation of all the productions of our subsidiaries. For this, two methods of consolidation are possible:
* Consolidation by Global Integration
Only subsidiaries controlled by EDF are consolidated. In this financial approach, subsidiaries are then consolidated at 100 %, regardless of their ownership rate. The entities for which EDF does not have control will therefore not be consolidated here at all.
* Consolidation Nette (or sometimes called Patrimonial)
All subsidiaries are consolidated, provided that EDF holds a shareholding. They are then consolidated to EDF’s share of the holding.
