Electric assistance bicycle subsidies (completed device)

Number of grants awarded between 2012 and 2020 for the purchase of an electric-assisted bicycle (EVE) by the Greater Paris Seine Ouest Territory. A territory marked by a particularly constrained topography, GPSO has affirmed its desire to be a pioneering territory in terms of sustainable mobility by setting up a subsidy for the purchase of an electric-assisted bicycle (EAV). The national “Bonus Vélo” for the acquisition of e-bikes, not cumulative with community support, then replaced the GPSO grant in 2017. As a result, the scheme was suspended in 2018. On 19 December 2018, the elected representatives of the GPSO Territorial Council voted in favour of the reactivation of this grant. From 1 November 2020, the Ile-de-France Mobility Region becomes the sole contact point for any request for a subsidy for the purchase of an electric bike. Thus, users no longer need to file a double file, with GPSO and then the Ile-de-France Region: while the GPSO grant was then supplemented by the Region, it is now fully paid by the Region.
