Natural risk of flooding by overflows of rivers d'water, outside areas stopped under the RPPs.
Cover areas of all known floods, either by modeling or by field observation.
WARNING:
By virtue of their mode of acquisition, the contours of flood zones (as well as the data associated with them) are of a strictly informative nature and are intended to be exploited at scales between 1/10 000 and 1/100 000.
This mapping has no regulatory scope and cannot be a substitute for an urban planning document such as the Plan d'Occupation des Soils (POS) or the Natural Risk Prevention Plan (PPRN).
Another limit of the study is the type of flood studied: the overflow of the course d'water. No; floods have been mapped by rising water table or of the type of urban storm runoff. The presence of water in a bowl bottom, a doline, for example, is related to n°#x27; another natural hydrological phenomenon and n' is therefore not carried on this map.
The mapping is very complete but is not exhaustive:
— very heavy rains but very localised (storms) can cause locally powerful floods but lose this power very quickly towards the downstream of the basin. The phenomenon is so
punctual in time and in the space (it can occur anywhere) that it is not possible to
map it.
— some streams or "rus", generally the smallest, have not been studied.
IMPORTANT: This layer is at #x27; origins a layer created by the DREAL (CIZI), but it is refined by DDT31 through field survey data
