Forecast electric balance 2021 — Production offer

This dataset details the production offer in France (production facilities and erasure capacity) on the basis of a common scenario for 2021-2025 and two scenarios for the 2030 cut. The means of production can be distinguished according to their characteristics and operating constraints: * Fatal production whose energy would be lost if it were not used at the time it is available. These are intermittent productions such as wind or solar photovoltaic and more regular productions such as waterborne hydraulics or bioenergy. * The production of “base” intended to operate throughout the year. This is the case with the nuclear industry. * The so-called “semi-base” (coal-fired power plants and gas combined cycles for the most part) and “point” (fuel and combustion turbines, which are used only a few hours a year). These more flexible means of production adapt to changes in residual demand, i.e. the deflated electrical demand of fatal production.
