Dataset description

The dataset contains a list of the French-speaking foundations recognised as being of public utility. It contains the foundation’s code, name, title, recognition date, category, address, postal code and corresponding city and geolocation (WGS84). A recognised foundation of public utility manages an important heritage in order to carry out a work of general interest, most often in the long term. The law of 23 July 1987 on the development of patronage regulates precisely the functioning of a foundation. (Source: Ministry of the Interior, 4/07/2013)
