France’s National Action Plan 2018-2020 for the Open Government Partnership

As a member of the Partnership for Open Government (PGO), France builds a National Action Plan (NAP) with civil society every two years. These National Action Plans contain commitments that governments and administrations make to promote and implement transparency, citizen participation, co-construction of public action and democratic innovation. A first National Action Plan for transparent and collaborative public action has been developed and published for the period 2015-2017. It contained 26 commitments and 70 actions. On Tuesday, 3 April 2018, France’s second Action Plan for the period 2018-2020 was published following a co-construction process with civil society.
