Fréquentation en gares

This dataset represents the annual use of all 3000 passenger stations from 2015 to 2020. This information is based, on the one hand, on ticketing data for national and regional traffic outside Ile-de-France and on the other, from extrapolation for regional traffic in Ile-de-France on the basis of counts carried out every 3 to 4 years and published in Open Data. For 2020, in the absence of counts for Ile-de-France regional traffic in view of the health crisis, an assumption of a 45 % decrease in traffic compared to 2019 was used. An estimate of the proportion of non-passengers is made from station surveys. In the absence of a survey, a default rate is defined (20 % for stations a and b outside Ile-de-France and 0 % for stations b Ile-de-France and c). The calculation methodology is specific year by year, with a recovery in the history that may explain changes in the data published from one year to the next.
