Dataset description

SNCF publishes its methodology for calculating the quantity of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted during a transport service, in accordance with Article L1431.3 of the Transport Code. This methodological note indicates the CO2e emission values in force for each of the rail passenger activities in France as well as the values of other modes of transport (road, air) for comparison. The current version was published on 10 August 2022.
