In July 2014, the Paris Executive launched the call for proposals “From green near me”, inviting Parisians to identify the places that could host vegetation as close as possible to home: urban furniture, walls, abandoned spaces, etc., in accordance with the mandate objective of creating 200 green points of proximity.
More than 1,500 contributions were submitted via the application [DansMaRue](http://www.paris.fr/accueil/accueil-paris-fr/dans-ma-rue-l-appli-qui-ameliore-la-ville/rub_1_actu_132205_port_24329), 3975, the site [paris.fr](http://www.paris.fr/) and the boroughs’ town halls between July and September 2014. This record participation demonstrates the high expectation of Parisians in terms of local vegetation. Finally, each borough town hall was able, on this basis, to continue to conduct a localised consultation until the end of 2014 in order to continue the census of the inhabitants’ contributions and to add, if necessary, new projects.
This dataset contains all the proposals made with the Parisians, specifying their status: selected, technically feasible but not technically selected or not technically feasible
