Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from all sectors of activity of EPCIs in the Greater East region — 2020

Estimate of emissions from all sectors of activity of greenhouse gases (GHGs) (carbon dioxide CO2 — Methane CH4 — Nitrogen protein N2O — Hydrofluorocarbon HFC — perfluorocarbon PFC — sulphur Hexafluoride SF6 — Nitrogen trifluoride NF3 — Global warming power according to the GWP values of the 4th IPCC report (AR4) for the year 2007 PRG2007 — Global warming power by GWP values of the IPCC 5th report (AR5) for 2013 PRG2013 — Carbon dioxide of biomass origin, not taken into account in the calculation of CO2_BIO GWPs) on the Greater East region for the year 2020. Units shall be expressed in kg/year or tonnes of CO2 equivalent for GWPs for administrative units associated with EPCIs. The figures provided are from ATMO Grand Est’s inventory V2022. In the context of the regional territorial inventory of ATMO Grand Est, consistency is examined in particular with regard to the work carried out at more macroscopic scales, in this case the national scale. This consists of comparing the results of the Grand Est inventory with other inventories put in place by another organisation. In the absence of results allowing a possible comparison with the regional outputs of the National Spatialised Inventory (INS), the comparison takes place with the national SECTEN inventory produced by CITEPA. Exceptions are to be taken into account for the following EPCIs: EPCI 200070332 “Knowledge CC”: only the data of the municipalities located on the territory of the Grand Est are taken into account.
