Grenelle catchments in Pas-de-Calais

To date, with approximately 99 % of dwellings served with water and almost 85 % in collective sanitation, the equipping of the territory with water and sanitation networks is almost complete. The quality of service to users will depend more and more in the coming years on the sound management of heritage in water and sanitation networks. In order to clarify the actions to be carried out, Law 2011-788 of 12 July 2010 on the national commitment for the environment (Law Grenelle II) calls on the organising authorities to have an inventory of their assets by 2013 by collecting the available data on the characteristics of the networks, and to define an action plan to reduce water losses in distribution networks when they exceed a threshold set by decree.
