The __thematics__ discussed are: * Art and culture * History & evolution of the city * Natural heritage and landscape * Sciences, techniques and innovations * Tourism * Fortified city, garrison or military The __historical periods__, divided into 8 periods, are: * from -43 to the 8th century * from the 8th century to 1590 * from 1590 to 1830 * from 1830 to 1880 * from 1880 to 1925 * from 1925 to 1968 * from 1968 to 2000 * from 2000 For works of art on public space, the descriptive texts__ of the heritage elements are provided in 2 French and English languages. We recall that __photos__ from the website https://www.grenoble-patrimoine.fr cannot be reproduced or reused.
