Group composters on Rennes Métropole

Points locating shared composting sites in buildings or (more rarely) in subdivisions. These shared composting areas are set up by Rennes Métropole as part of its waste reduction policy. They are not public and are reserved for residents of nearby buildings (or pavilions). The management of the areas is devolved to the inhabitants themselves, some of whom, called “referents”, ensure the operation of the site. NB: for a year, at the start of each area, a service provider from Rennes Métropole provides support to the inhabitants.
