Half-board assistance for high school students 2012-2013

The Region is mobilising more than EUR 4 million to help families of high school students who are struggling to pay for school catering. The beneficiaries are high school students in public institutions, including those in post-secondary education. The arrangements for the individual allocation of the aid are defined by the board of directors of the high school but determined according to a regional scale of family quotient. The Region pays an annual allocation(s) to the schools that manage it for students: an initial allocation calculated from the number of fellows and the shares of scholarships awarded to them by the state and voted on before the beginning of the school year. Adjustments are made during the year to reflect changes in staffing. Description of fields: Gross allocation: value calculated according to the annual scale without taking into account the balance.
