Headquarters of the Departmental Road Agency (ARD), the operating centres of the roads and the operating centres of the departmental ports — Department of Calvados

The Department is competent, by law, to manage major equipment (ports, airfields) and roads in its public domain. The Calvados Department is responsible for the maintenance, management and construction of departmental roads, works of art and departmental ports. 6 departmental road agencies each manage, maintain and operate departmental roads in a geographical area allocated to them; they are based on their operating centres (3 to 5 per road agency). The Maritime Operations Centres maintain and manage departmental ports: Isigny-sur-Mer, Grandcamp-Maisy, Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, Courseulles-sur-Mer, Dives-sur-Mer-Cabourg-Houlgate, Deauville-Trouville and Honfleur.
