# “Occitanie on my plate”: organic and local for high school students
In Occitanie, 25 million meals are served each year in 192 high schools restaurants in the Region, or 157 000 daily meals.
In order to take concrete action for school restoration, the Region has launched an innovative plan for the valorisation of quality and proximity products in public high schools, entitled “L’Occitanie in my plate”.**
The objective: increase to **40 %** the share of **quality and proximity products — half of which in bio** \- in high school selfs, at no extra cost to families.
