A departmental scheme of Sensitive Natural Spaces (ENS) was developed and adopted by the Department in December 2006. This strategic policy guidance tool of the Department has made it possible to define the priorities for interventions in terms of the acquisition, management and valorisation of natural environments.
The departmental scheme of ENS has identified 56 potential Sensitive Natural Spaces (ENS). Not all of these sites are the subject of concrete actions to date. It is a solid foundation of knowledge, corresponding to sites remarkable for their natural and landscape heritage.
This layer of data presents in particular the location of the potential ENS sites defined in 2006, the type of environment concerned and their perimeter.
