The hunting territory is an area where hunting is permitted, where hunting rights are held in the general case by the same natural or legal person and which has the characteristics enabling it to be considered locally as an elementary territory for the management of hunting, both by the administration and by the departmental Federation of Hunters.
By construction the hunting territories are juxtaposed.
However, in the Associations Communales de Chasse Agrées (ACCA), the owner of certain lands may oppose and reserve for himself the only game hunt of water or the sole hunt for colombids. A property where a set of properties can therefore constitute a hunting territory superimposed on that of the;ACCA
