Dataset description

Proposal for the regionalisation of aquatic ecosystems with a view to the implementation of the European Framework Directive on Water. In 2005, Cémagref proposed a division of French Guiana into hydro-ecoregions, based on climatic, geomorphological and geological criteria. The proposal resulted in regionalisation divided into two thematic levels. The report associated with this layer is available on the CEMAGREF/IRESTEA website __Origin__ Based on the cartographic data of French Guiana (geology, rainfall, morphology...) Cemagref proposed a division into hydro-ecoregion.
