Hydrographic nodes — Métropole 2016 — BD Carthage

A hydrographic node corresponds to a modification of l' water flow. It is always located at the end of an elementary hydrographic section. The class of hydrographic nodes managed by l'IGN includes: — confluences, diffluences, sources, mouths and losses of water; — restraint dams; — the dams along the water; — locks (for passage or scrapping); — sources and waterfalls of ' tourist interest. A hydrographic node is located by a geometric top. Some nodes correspond to an outlet of a hydrographic area. __Origin__ Updated by l'IGN following requests from Agences de l'Water according to an annual cycle.
