Indicators of the report on the status of sustainable development of the Department of Hauts-de-Seine since 2010

In accordance with Article L. 3311-2 of the General Code of Local and Regional Authorities, the Department of Hauts-de-Seine presents its annual regulatory report on the situation with regard to sustainable development during the budgetary orientation debate. In year N the report is drawn up on the basis of year N-1 data.
The purpose of this report is to enable the evaluation of the Department’s policy in relation to sustainable development issues. The aim is to highlight departmental action for development that reconciles economic development, social progress with environmental protection and development.
In accordance with Article D. 3311-8 of the CGCT and Article L. 110-1 of the Environmental Code, this report takes into account the following five purposes of sustainable development:
1. The fight against climate change;
2. The preservation of biodiversity, environments, resources and the safeguarding of the services they provide and related uses;
3. Social cohesion and solidarity between territories and generations;
4. The development of all human beings;
5. The transition to a circular economy.
The approach is structured around three parts:
1. A review of the actions carried out in connection with the management of its assets, the functioning and internal activities of the community;
2. Analysis of territorial policies carried out on the Department;
3. The synthesis of professional practices at the service of evaluation, governance and transversality.
All the data are collected from the various departments, departments and departments of the Department through Sustainable Development correspondents who contribute and act as a conduit to carry out the preparation of this report.

The texts of the report and the indicators are those provided and monitored by the Department’s business directorates. Values are updated annually. Indicators may change from year to year either because the objectives are met or because they are no longer relevant.
