Intercommunality: Areas of competence for municipal waste collection and treatment in Indre

An EPCI of any form may have competences in waste collection AND/OR Treatment facility assigned by its statutes (General Code of Territorial Communities — Articles L2224-13 to L2224-17 of the CGCT). This competence may include the collection and/or treatment of municipal waste. A municipality adhering to an EPCI may choose to: — delegate this competence to it — delegate it to another public institution or other body — retain that competence. Areas of competence are thus formed; different from the administrative perimeters of the EPCI.
