Iris INSEE in the territory of m2A

Perimeters of INSEE’s IRIS islands. Municipalities with at least 10,000 inhabitants and most communes of 5,000 to 10,000 inhabitants are divided into IRIS. This division, the basic grid for the dissemination of infracommunal statistics, constitutes a partition of the territory of these municipalities into “districts”. By extension, in order to cover the whole territory, each of the municipalities not cut into IRIS is treated as an IRIS.
