The product ‘Limites relating to fishing uses’ contains the maritime limits linked to fishing uses and derived from French and European regulations. These limits are managed by the Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture Directorate (DPMA) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.<br/><br/>
These limits are divided into three categories:<br/>
— The inland limit of the coastal fishing strip (6 nautical miles); < br/ >
— The limit of 3 nautical miles; < br/ >
— The fishing limit in Outside @-@ sea (100 nautical miles). br/ > < br/ >
The product “Limites relating to fishing uses” is to be used in addition to the digital product “Maritime Delimitations” of the Shom, which represents the limits of France’s maritime areas of sovereignty or jurisdiction in the world. <br/>
The product “Marine Delimitations” can be viewed and downloaded from the national maritime boundary portal (https://limitesmaritimes.gouv.fr).

The marine limits related to fishing uses (3, 6 and 100 nautical miles) are derived from Shom calculations from the low-sea mark elements extracted from the electronic navigation charts (ENCs) produced by the Shom and the existing baselines.
