Dataset description

These data, produced by the Ministry of the Interior, list, by constituency, candidates for parliamentary elections, their votes and their related party. This data was obtained following a CADA opinion https://www.cada.fr/20175498 They are essential for calculating the public funding of political parties. After integration of the ineligible candidates following a decision of the Constitutional Council, the funding was calculated (second file). This data was the basis of an article for the title Mediacités https://www.mediacites.fr/enquete/2018/11/26/legislatives-2017-des-entourloupes-dans-le-financement-public-des-partis/
