List of remarkable gardens

Established in 2004, the label “**[Remarkable Garden](https://www.culture.gouv.fr/Aides-demarches/Protections-labels-et-appellations/Label-Jardin-remarquable)**” distinguishes gardens and parks, of cultural, aesthetic, historical or botanical interest, whether public or private. This quality label is awarded by the Ministry of Culture for a renewable period of 5 years. It gives rise to various advantages, including road and highway signage, following the same process as buildings protected under historical monuments. NB: the data model evolves from 1 February 2023. The garden identifier code formerly known as “code id” is renamed “origin identifier”.
