Location and characteristics of activity areas in Rennes Métropole

This data was developed in October 2019 for the establishment of a metropolitan economic observatory. The aim is to identify and locate metropolitan activity areas. An area of activity (ZA) is an operational perimeter hosting economic activities. These perimeters are the result of an analysis of the 2017 Rennes Métropole Economic Planning Schema (SAE), the analysis of the zoning of the graphical regulation of the Intercommunal Local Plan (PLUi) of Rennes Métropole elaborated in 2019, of the field knowledge of Rennes Métropole’s services. This information makes it possible to locate the activity areas in the territory of Rennes Métropole while characterising them. Each perimeter brings the characteristics of the area of activity. The information table contains descriptive attributes: \- Step: created, potential, completed, ongoing \- State: renewal, extension \- Scot: compatible with SCoT, not compatible with SCoT \- territory: structuring, tertiary pole, proximity \- archive: activity area decommissioned, closed or whose perimeter has changed (reserved for memory)
