MAET territory 2011 in Brittany

Agri-environmental measures (AEMs) are implemented in accordance with Community rules within the framework of European rural development policy. They are part of the Hexagonal Rural Development Programme (HRDP). Among them, the regionalised agri-environmental measures (MAETs) form a mechanism that aims to apply in specific areas with targeted challenges within areas of priority action (Natura 2000 sites and priority watersheds defined under the Water Framework Directive).
