Dataset description

The IGN dematerialises its heritage fund to facilitate the making available in digital form of the various historical cartographic series. The series of historical maps are available on the dedicated site [Remount Time](https://remonterletemps.ign.fr/) as their digitisation is completed. The first downloadable series was the map of the staff, whose realisation began on the ground in 1818, during the Restoration, and ended in 1881, under the Third Republic.
