Map — SRCE2014 — ALSACE — Orientation map n°11: The GrandTétras and the subtrames of “old woods” and forest environments

This map was made to represent the species issues related to the Great Tétras in Alsace as part of the green and blue frame of the SRCE. The elements are mapped at 1:100,000th on three sectors of Alsace where the Grand Tétras stake is predominant. The problem areas are composed of the areas where the species was identified as well as corridors to connect the living places of the species (treatment on the “detail” field of the table of regional ecological corridors). The elements of the green and blue frame are associated with the mapping, there are the reservoirs of biodiversity by subtrames favourable to the species (subtrames forest and “old wood”) but also all ecological corridors and axes a preferential passage for wildlife in the Vosges massif. Elements of context complement the cartographic representation. The paths are based, as far as possible, on existing structuring elements. This mapping is carried out for a print planned in A3 format, color, portrait orientation.
