Monthly regularity of Intercity trains since January 2014.
On Intercités, regularity is calculated when the train arrives at the last station on its route (terminus). This method of calculation, which does not include intermediate stations, offers the cumulative delay on the entire journey.
The indicator used is that of ‘composite regularity’: a train is considered late if it arrives five minutes after its scheduled time for a journey of less than 1h30, ten minutes for a journey from 1h30 to 3h, and fifteen minutes for a journey of more than 3 hours.
A train removed before 4 p.m. on the day before its operation will not be counted. On the other hand, if the announcement of its deletion could not be made the previous day before 16:00, the train will be well counted as a deleted train, regardless of whether the deletion is complete or partial (the train has made only part of its journey). In addition, Intercité trains can make a significant part of their journey under TER service and are then recorded in the TER regularity data.
The calculation of regularity Intercités proposed here does not take into account all trains, but a selection determined by the Authority for Quality of Service in Transport (AQST).
NB:
\- As of 1 January 2020, all the Normandy Intercités routes have been transferred to TER Normandie.
