Monthly punctuality Transilien since January 2013.
On Transilien, the quality of service is assessed on the basis of “passenger puctuality”, i.e. the percentage of passengers arriving less than five minutes late at their destination station.
Since January 2002, in agreement with Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) — formerly Syndicat des transports d’Ile-de-France (STIF) — which is the transport organising authority for Transilien, the method of calculation no longer takes place on the basis of the number of trains but the number of passengers impacted. The aim is to reflect the reality of each traveller’s journey. For each train removed or delayed by more than five minutes, it is possible to know the number of passengers impacted by a disturbance.
To make this calculation, agents authorised by IDFM and Transilien carry out counts to determine the number of entrants and descendants at stations, for all trains during the week. These data shall be updated according to the data transmitted by the control gates.
NB: Due to the national strike, the punctuality of December 2019 and January 2020 has not been taken into account.
