The moral and civic education program for elementary school, middle school and high school comes into effect in September 2015.
Moral and civic education aims at the acquisition of a moral and civic culture and a critical mindset that aims to develop provisions allowing students to gradually become aware of their responsibilities in their personal and social lives.
Moral and civic culture has four dimensions, linked to each other:
— a sensitive dimension (sensitivity: self and others),
— a normative dimension (law and rule: principles for living with others),
— a cognitive dimension (judgment: thinking for yourself and with others),
— a practical dimension (commitment: acting individually and collectively).
