Dataset description
This dataset lists the research instruments (inventories) published and searchable on the website of the Municipal Archives of Lille (https://archives.lille.fr).
The table shows, for each research instrument:
\ — if it describes old (prior to 1790), modern (1790-1983) or contemporaneous (post-1983) archives or private archives.
\ — the number of entries it contains *
\ — number and associated types of digital documents
Some inventories produced before computerisation of the service were uploaded via a scanned copy of the paper inventory, which was then linked to the header of the inventory on the archive management software. In this case, the table shows 0 entries but 1 attached document.
