Museums list of France

Thanks to a [personally developed Python script](https://github.com/papposilene/fruseumpy), you will find here a CSV file from the list of all entities classified under the tag “museum” in OpenStreetMap. The list was extracted from raw data from French territories (Hexagone, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia, etc.). The file includes the following columns: OSM id, name, street, street, postal code, city, country, country code (CCA3), latitude, longitude, website, email, phone, fax, tags, description, date added to OpenStreetMap, WikiData ID. Tags have been added by hand, hence their potential (and certain) lack of accuracy. They indicate the type of museum (beautiful arts, history, technical and industrial, etc.), the category of art (Antiquity, Renaissance, contemporary art, etc.), the continent (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania), the “gender” of the exhibited artist (men’s museum, women’s museum, couple museum).
