Dataset description
**[My internet connection](https://maconnexioninternet.arcep.fr/), a new project developed by Arcep, is a search engine that allows you to know the internet access technologies available to them and to be better informed about fibre deployments. This open data group the site data in an accessible and reusable format. You can find at the end of this page the [documentation of this open data.](https://www.data.gouv.fr/en/datasets/ma-connexion-internet/#resource-8c21e6a5-ebcb-4eaf-b835-a687abce248d)**
**For more information about My Internet connection, you can visit the [Technical Documentation of My Internet Connection] page (https://www.arcep.fr/cartes-et-donnees/nos-cartes/documentation-technique-ma-connexion-internet.html), as well as the [FAQ] page(http://www.arcep.fr/nos-sujets/ma-connexion-internet.html). You can also subscribe to the [Dissemination list “Data and maps of the fixed internet”](https://www.arcep.fr/actualites/nos-mails-dinformation/liste-de-diffusion-donnees-et-cartes-de-linternet-fixe.html) to be kept informed of the current status of the project.**
## Data date:
The most recent data are **Q2 2022 (30 June 2022)**.
## Dashboards:
Two dashboards are available at the departmental, regional and national scales on the one hand and municipal on the other. They make it possible to consult interactively the statistics of the eligibility of the premises calculated from the raw data of this open data, as published on [My internet connection](https://maconnexioninternet.arcep.fr/).
They are designed to be open with Excel. These are files for direct download.
## Raw data:
The raw resources are files containing all the data of My Internet connection (building base, eligibility of buildings, reference data, statistics by administrative mail) in csv format.
These resources are stored on the server [https://files.data.gouv.fr/arcep/](https://files.data.gouv.fr/arcep/) in three folders (base_imb, eligibilite, reference, statistics), then by vintage, in the form of a year_quarter couple (AAAA_tX).
The links below link directly to the latest version of the files placed in the “/last” directory. It is possible to navigate through the folder tree to download older data.
*Scheme of the organisation of vintages on the server:*

## List of published raw data:
**base_imb — building data:**
— building base (‘base_imb.csv’): list of buildings version France or by department
**ELIGIBILITY — debit data at the building:**
— eligibility table (‘current.csv’): triplet {building;technology;debit} version of France whole or by department
**Reference — reference data:**
— operator table (‘operateur.csv’): list of operator codes and operators used in the data.
*The link to this data is in the “Documentation” section*.
**statistics — room eligibility statistics:**
These data are available for the whole of France, the regions, departments and municipalities:
— number of premises (‘{national,region,department,municipal}.csv’)
— elibility according to the rate class (‘{national,region,department,commune}_debit.csv’)
— elasticity according to the rate class limited to terrestrial technologies (DSL, cable, fiber, HD/THD radio, 4G fixed) (‘{national,region,department,commune}_debit_terrestre.csv’)
— eelibility according to the rate class limited to wired technologies (DSL, cable and fibre) (‘{national,region,department,commune}_debit_filaire.csv’)
— eligibility according to the rate class limited to DSL (‘{national,region,department,commune}_debit_dsl.csv’)
— eligibility according to technology (‘{national,region,department,commune}_techno.csv’)
— eligibility according to technology allowing the best access to very high speed or good broadband ({national,region,department,commune}_best_techno.csv')
*A visualisation of departmental statistics of “better access to very high speed or good broadband” is proposed on [Arcep’s website](https://www.arcep.fr/cartes-et-donnees/nos-cartes/visualisations-ma-connexion-internet.html).*
## Test data:
A reduced database** (‘bdd-reducite-mci.tar’) allows testing the production scripts of My internet connection, as described online on the Github repository [algo_macconnectioninternet](https://github.com/ARCEP-dev/algo_maconnexioninternet). This data is not vintage and is not on the server above.
## Data exploitation with Microsoft Excel:
To display accented characters in Microsoft Excel software, it is possible to run the Text Import Wizard by replacing the. csv filename extension with. txt before opening it. You can then select the UTF-8 encoding.
