Perimeters of the 3 urban forest sites of Nantes Métropole * * * Made up of wooded and bocager areas contributing to the diversity of natural environments and local development, these three forest sites are one of the elements of the green and blue frame. Beyond a local response to the various challenges posed by climate change, by establishing sustainable carbon or developing a wood-energy sector, the objective of this project is above all to give new perspectives to areas in decline, subject to urban pressure, and to offer the inhabitants of the agglomeration spaces for leisure and the discovery of nature and landscapes.
