A ZNIEFF is defined by the scientific identification of a sector of the national territory (land, river or marine) of particular ecological interest. All of these sectors thus constitute the inventory of exceptional or representative natural spaces. Type I areas, sectors of #x27; an area in general limited, are characterised by the presence of\#x27; species, d' associations of #x27; species or environments, rare, remarkable, or characteristic of the national or regional natural heritage. These areas are particularly sensitive to even limited equipment or transformations.
