This dataset contains the issues related to linear infrastructures whose flooding may aggravate or complicate crisis management, produced for reporting purposes for the European Floods Directive. The European Directive 2007/60/EC of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and risk management of ' Flood (OJ L 288, 06-11-2007, p. 27) influences the flood prevention strategy in Europe. It requires the production of risk management plans for ' floods aimed at reducing the negative consequences of floods on human health, the environment, cultural heritage and the economic activity. The objectives and requirements for achievement are given by the law of 12 July 2010 establishing a national commitment for the environment (LENE) and the decree of 2 March 2011. Within this framework, the primary objective of flooding and risk mapping of IRRs is to contribute, by homogenising and objecting knowledge of the #x27th; exposure of issues to floods, to #x27; development of risk management plans for #x27; flooding (PGRI).This dataset is used to produce maps of the issues exposed at an appropriate scale.
__Origin__
The boundaries of a restricted zone are represented on the graphical documents of the PPR. Regulatory limits are generally set on natural phenomena, which do not follow cadastral or administrative boundaries. A PPR determines the boundaries of the different restricted zones according to the calculated right-of-way of the hazardous phenomena of the site. Some PPRs may sometimes contain regulations associated with linear or punctual figures (cavities, runoff axis...). The linear and point graphics primitives are to be used in these cases respectively.
