New Aquitaine: Surface water quality measuring stations (one-off)

The implementation of the Framework Directive on Water (WFD) is at the origin of a profound modification of surface water measurement networks. The DCE networks s' support existing, reinforced and adjusted networks to track the evolution of water status; water status, l' efficiency of SDAGEs at the point of #x27; basin scale, and to report to Europe. Five main types of networks: — a network of reference sites, intended to define the " good ecological status; depending on the hydroecological zone, — a monitoring monitoring network intended to provide an overall picture, at the national scale, of the state of the quality of water courses, — an operational control network to define the status of sectors which may not meet the quality criteria in 2015 and to monitor its evolution following the actions undertaken, the monitoring being focused on the parameter(s) at n°#x27; origin of the degradation, — a monitoring network of #x27; investigation that will be set up when the causes of non-compliance with good condition are not known in a certain way, — an additional monitoring network that will complement monitoring in the particular areas to be protected __Origin__ This JDD was created on the perimeter of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region during the construction of ' harmonisation of heritage, it is produced from l' assembling data from the 3 former regions Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes. __Partner organisations__ DREAL Nouvelle-Aquitaine [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/d6c3865c271ee6fb45b5b9d5d9d1ebdd6822abbe)
