Noise — Exceeding limit values by 24h (Type C Lden) 2nd deadline

Areas where the noise limit values are exceeded (concerns buildings d' dwellings, d' education and health) over 24 hours (in Lden: day, evening, night): — 68 decibels for roads with annual traffic exceeding 3 million vehicles — 73 decibels for railway axes flowing more than 29000 trains per year This study complements the strategic first-time noise maps developed by the Technical Equipment Studies Centre (CETE) in 2008 for road infrastructure with an annual traffic of more than 6 million vehicles. In order to ensure homogeneity of renderings, the entire line already mapped has been revised, beyond the recommendations of the Directive [1] requiring revision when the expected deviation exceeds ± 2 dB. __Origin__ Road noise data, transmitted by SEEF in 2011 to draw up dynamic maps (noise maps) to the public (Cartélie).
