Number of guests per day per canteen in Nantes since 2011

Planned and observed attendance of school restaurants in Nantes since January 2011 * * * For each establishment and each day of service, the number of meals ordered by the establishments from the central kitchen and delivered by the central kitchen, as well as the number of meals actually consumed in the establishments, are available. The information comes from a meal production management application and manually enriched registers on spreadsheets. The spreadsheet data has been retained for a longer period and is of better quality as verified by agents. This dataset was published as part of an experiment to develop a predictive modeling tool to help communities control food waste, improve agent predictions and anticipate purchases of raw materials.
