Dataset description
These are all incoming mail related to the management of the recipient files, regardless of the field (PF, AS, litigation, etc.) and the place of receipt (mail service, counters, external centres, service providers, etc.) The definition of mail follows the agreement adopted in SDP: a mail recorded by SDP corresponds to all the documents arrived on the same day for the same recipient (the same number). All incoming written contacts must be counted, regardless of the medium (paper, fax, e-mail, etc.), the recipient service(s) (family benefits, Social Action, Litigation, etc.) and the place of receipt (mail service, check-out counters, outside centres of the cash register, computer centre or service provider on behalf of the caisse), whether or not they are registered by SDP. Only incoming mail (inbound flows) and internal load-generating flows must be counted, outflows should not be counted. That indicator is only a partial element of the assessment of the burden in so far as the processing of a letter may be more or less lengthy depending on the type of mail concerned, the number of documents constituting the mail. In this indicator, some monthly fluctuations may result from one-off operations (arrivals of resource declarations, school certificates, local information campaigns, special social action activities, etc.). Accounting monthly for letters received by service providers can be difficult. The caisse will communicate their enumeration as soon as it becomes aware of it and a monthly recycling assigned to the month(s) indicated by it will be carried out. Compliance with the recommendations (see SDP functional documentation) regarding the use of state codes in SDP ensures consistency between the defined field for the indicator and the reality of the calculation.
