When using data from l'Oscom, it is advisable to refer to file N_OSCOM2013_TxVectMajic_064.csv.
If the vectorisation rate of the municipalities studied is low, the relevance of the data should be checked before any conclusion.
The data is also available in WMS and WFS:

__Origin__
Data were created for DDT64 to establish a plan to control logging and clearing. They are derived from the comparison of two covers of satellite images.
The images for 2010 are Rapideye multi-spectral images at 5 m resolution. They are provided by Geosud. They consist of a range of lengths d'visible waves and d'infra red.
Images for 2011 are SPOT5 images at 2.5 m resolution. They come from the GMES programme of the European Space Agency (ESA).
The steps to create the data are:
— Targeting forest areas through the forest mask of l'IGN.
— Radiometric correction of satellite covers
— Calculation of a vegetation index image for each cover
— Production of 'an image difference in vegetation indices
— Thresholding of l'image difference
— Verification by visual inspection and classification of cuts into classes (1: cut certain, 2: probable cut, 3: clearing)
— Morphological treatment, elimination of small surfaces and clustering of isolated pixels
— Contour vectorisation
— Manual verification of areas detected in cut at l'using satellite images and Ortho comics of l'IGN.
